Starting in 2025, the Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority will allow students to submit scores from the Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK), taken in the previous two years.
Students are required to take the TOPIK examinations held in Hong Kong and register directly with the examination administration for the relevant examinations according to the timetable of the relevant language examinations. Students who have achieved the specified or higher level of language proficiency will be included in the results of Category C subjects in the HKDSE. If the candidate takes the language test more than once, regardless of the same ability level or different levels, the HKDSE will only use the results achieved by the candidate. The highest level and results are taken as the results of Category C subjects. The results of these examinations must be submitted to the HKEAA by the specified deadline.
